Transfer for ink jet printers and plotters – apply with heat-iron
To print and personalize light coloured fabrics.
For T-shirts, canvas, textile patches and other light coloured fabrics.
Multicopy print – plastic feel – various fabrics
For printing your own drawings with a common house-hold iron. To customize your T-shirts, shorts, mouse pads, calendars, rucksacks…
The print has to be made on the matte side of the transfer with “mirror effect”. You can get your image from any PC and inkjet printer. Any graphics program allows you to “reflect” the image. You may even draw by hand your own design with pencils, pastels, water colours. Set the printer to a 300/400 dpi resolution – normal/high quality. Work in a dry, warm place, (this product is sensitive to humidity). Let the print dry before transferring.
HOW TO TRANSFER ON WHITE T.SHIRTS OR FABRICS WITH A HEAT-IRON.
Work on a strong and firm table covered with a soft smooth cloth; the heat-iron should be set to high temperature and pre-heated (about 185°C). Cut out the image and place the coloured side on the T-shirt. The T-shirt has to be stretched out. Iron the transfer on the garment continuously without stopping in any point. The hottest part of the iron is under the handle while the point isn’t warm enough to transfer the colour on the fabric. Carefully press the corners and the borders of the image which are the most important parts. Pressing time may vary depending on the size of the image. For A4 size (cm. 21 x29.7) not less than 2 minutes. If the image is smaller than the iron, 1 minute could be enough. When you finish pressing with the iron, wait 2 or 3 seconds and peel away the paper support, starting from the corner.
NOTE: do not peel away too quickly because part of the image could remain on the paper. In case you wait too long the paper may not come away. If this occurs heat the transfer again for approximately 3 minutes (1 ½ if the image is smaller than the size of the iron) so the colour penetrates into the fabric. The T-shirt can be machine-washed at max. 40°C or hand-washed in cold or lukewarm water. We suggest to wash the garment inside-out. Iron on the reverse side or protect with a cloth. When you iron the garment the print becomes brilliant.
